3 Days in Delta

Memorial Day weekend we spent three days in Delta with our friends, the Sudburys. The first was pretty cool. We found their ranch luckily. When we got inside there was only Buck, Ace and Lucky, the dog. Then, their other friends, Tyler and AJ, came in. They actually came the day before everybody else. Later, while we were getting settled in, Addie was playing with the dog, because she LOVES dogs, so she was petting it and it BIT HER! Well, the dog was really, really old, so he was probably frightened or something. Then, later, after we were done eating lunch, we were sitting on the couch watching Little Rascals and Lucky was next to me and I was petting him, but then he started growling. I thought he was just growling at the vacuum, but then he BIT ME!! and boy did it hurt. I even started crying.

Later the rest of the people got here, like Kathy, Shay, Gator, Andrew and Champ, their other dog. By now, Addie was terrified of the dogs, but Champ was really nice. His real name is Champion.

Little bit later, Tyler mentioned that he absolutely HATES snakes. So, after we looked for scorpions, Lexi yelled "I found a snake!" Then Buck did the dumbest thing, He picked it up!

The second day we rode 3-wheelers and 4-wheelers and motorcycles a lot. We looked for scorpions again and stuff. Then, we looked in one of their old trailers that they never use anymore and we saw the cutest thing, Two baby birds! One of the birds was on the floor, so Shay picked it up to put it back in the nest, then it pooped on her! Then when we got out of the trailer we saw a lizard.

Then, we thought that we should build a fire and roast hot dogs, but then it started raining. So, Gator got outside and started making a fire with wood, toilet paper and matches. Then, the other boys came out and poured gasoline on it so it went all right.

The fire stayed there even in the HARD HARD Rain. Andrew and Gator went mud wheeling. Gator was so covered in mud that his shoe looked like it was connected to the three-wheeler.

Then, we heard a deep croaking noise, so we went to find out what it was. Well, we already figured it was a frog, we just wanted to find it, but when we went over there, it was dead silent, so we left. We were at the fire roasting marshmallows and making smores while everyone else was inside watching a movie called "Yes Man." Then, everybody that was outside, well all the boys except for Gator. Anyway, they lit matches and put them in their mouths. I video taped it for 5 minutes. You can't hear what they are saying though. Then we heard croaking, lots of croaking, and Buck started rapping to it. Then we went inside to watch "Bedtime Stories" and went to bed. Oh yeah, before we went to bed, well it well-appearing right after Gator was covered in mud, he got a bunch of trash bags and covered himself.

The third day in Delta was the last day in Delta, which was really fun. We found 2 more lizards, a dead jack rabbit and the dude who is terrified of snakes found a snake. He said it nearly gave him a heart attack. After we got all packed up and ready to go, we started heading out to the lake. We ate lunch there and swam in the lake and I even buried myself in the sand. Then, we were all playing in the water and Buck didn't want to get in so AJ picked him up and threw him in the lake! Then, all the boys did tricks off the dock. After that, we left and started headin' home two hours.
